What was the purpose of this project?
The purposed of our project was to acquire funds needed to purchase choir attire for the Oxford Middle 8th grade choir.
Did the project fulfill that purpose? If so, how?
Over the past year, we were able to attain our goal and purchase the attire needed for our performances.
Please include the number of students involved in this project, grade levels and subject areas covered.
There have been over 110 choir students already impacted with this attire during the past year. Each year over 50 students in the 8th grade choir will check out their attire for concert performances. Parents contributing to this have spanned four grade levels - our current 6th, 7th and 8th grade choir members and our alumni choir members from OMS.
Describe how Foundation funds and this project benefited students.
This project, funded by the Foundation became a reality for our students. Students will be dressed and perform at a professional quality level.
Do you feel this project should be replicated in other schools throughout the district? Please explain.
I believe that this is the PERFECT way for all of our Blue Valley Middle Level Choirs to acheive the goal of having appropriate and consistent choir attire at ALL buildings. Minimal cost is required of each parent since all of the attire is owned by the individual schools.

I am so appreciative of how helpful the Blue Valley Educational Foundation staff were in setting this up for parents to contribute. I am also so thankful to all of the parents who support our choral program at OMS and who have made this dream a reality.
