The Blue Valley Educational Foundation announced the appointment ofTom Mitchell who will serve as president through June 2009. Mitchell is Principal, Director of Business Development with DLR Group and lives with his wife Chanie and three children in Overland Park.

            "The educational experience at Blue Valley is second to none. I am proud to play my part as both an involved parent and foundation president," said Mitchell.

            Tammy Edwards, Director - Inclusion and Diversity for Sprint, will serve as president-elect through June 2009 and serve as president from July 1, 2009 through June 30, 2010.
