Fashion show benefits BVEF

            As prom season is gearing up nearly 75Blue Valley students and staff modeled prom dresses and evening wear by designer Tony Bowls in a fashion show presented by Natalie M. Natalie M located in Overland Park offering formal, casual, bridal, prom and evening wear hosted this benefit for BVEF on Saturday, February 23 at Blue Valley North High School.

            Tony Bowls spoke with students in the morning and answered questions about the fashion and retail industry. Mr. Bowl's designs have garnered attention and accolades in world of television and pageants. His designs have been featured on MTVss Tiara Girls and My Sweet Sixteen.

            Nearly 600 attendees enjoyed the show followed by a reception hosted by Natalie M. Owner Natalie Nearenberg, former teacher and social worker, donated the proceeds from the show and also matched the earnings in a donation of more than $5,000 to the Blue Valley Educational Foundation in memory of her husband and co-founder Martin Nearenberg.
