Blue Valley Educational Foundation delivers record number of grant checks

            The Blue Valley Educational Foundation's Surprise Squad delivered more than $53,000 in grant checks to fund 29 grants at 17 Blue Valley schools on Monday. John Holt, anchor from Fox 4 News, helped deliver the fall grant checks. Grant recipients included:

      Elementary School Grants

§         Mary Foote and Ann Nelson, Blue River Elementary, $1,195.96 for Above and Beyond

§         Cherilee Ward, Blue River Elementary, $300.00 for Braille for Blue River

§         Julie Vodehnal and Carrie Blasi, Cedar Hills Elementary, $2,391.73 for Phonetically Fit Cheetahs

§         Erin Dilfer and Sarah Arroyo, Heartland Elementary, $1,175.00 for Taking the Teacher Home
