On April 17, the BVEF Surprise Squad with Phil Kritzler from Walmart at117^th Street delivered grant checks totaling $2,000 to two Blue Valley schools. Grant recipients included:

§         Cathy Cowans, Heartland Elementary, $500 for microscopes

§         Abby Neiburger Terri Snethen, and Shelly Weir, Blue Valley North, $1,000.00 for Summer Reading Program

§         Eric Otto, Blue Valley North, $500 for Nintendo Wii for Students with Autism

         "Supporting public education in these tough economic times is very important for all of us at Walmart," said Kritzler.
