BVEF's annual Membership Week Oct. 12-16 features three events to celebrate members and support foundation programs.

            All week long, three Pizza Shoppe locations will be the sponsors for the week and will donate a percentage of sales to BVEF. The locations include:Stanley at 7908 W. 151^st, Overland Park South at 12627 Metcalf and Olathe East at 12750 Pflumm. Look for a special coupon in a flyer sent home with elementary school students or download it from the BVEF website www.bvef.org and click on promotions.

            Donors who have given $2,000 or more will be recognized Monday evening, Oct. 12 at the BVEF Donor Wall reception at district office followed by a presentation at the Board of Education meeting at 7 p.m.

            On Thursday, Oct. 15, the Charitable Chicks will host its fall shopping boutique in the district office gym at 151^st and Metcalf from 9 a.m. - 5 p.m. to benefit the foundation. Atlanta Bread Company will be serving breakfast and lunch items at the event. Shoppers can enter a drawing to win a $250 grant for their school.
