EVENTS
The Blue Valley Educational Foundation has invested
in what we believe is the cornerstone of a healthy and prosperous community
- the education of our children. The Foundation contributes significantly
to the capability of our school district to provide the highest quality
education, now and in the future.
We all profit when we invest in our schools. The
Blue Valley Educational Foundation provides the exceptional educational
opportunities for which our school district is known. The better we educate
our students today, the better citizens they will be in the future.
Each year the Foundation hosts the Community
Breakfast and BVEF Month. The Foundation applies
the money raised from these events to school grants and awards.
Community Breakfast
Each year the Blue Valley Educational Foundation brings our corporate, parent and school
communities together to help kick off the school year at our annual Community
Breakfast. Student grants are highlighted and our superintendent gives
the "State of the District" address.

Sunflower Ambassadors
A student and staff member from each school
who exemplify the Blue Valley Virtues are nominated by their peers. One fourth, seventh and eleventh grader and a teacher at each school is selected by a committee of judges based on essays written about the nominee. These ambassadors are honored in their schools during BVEF Month as part of BVEF's support of character education.
