The Wall of Honor was created
by the Blue Valley Educational Foundation to honor our contributors
in a special way.
The wall recognizes corporate and individual donors who have given
$2,000 or more since the Foundation’s inception.
The beautiful dark cherry wall, located in District
Office outside the Foundation’s office has 198 sunflowers
attached with each donor’s name
laser etched onto the sunflower. Four sizes of sunflowers represent
four different levels of donor giving: $2,000 - $4,999; $5,000-
$9,999; $10,000-$19,999 and $20,000 or more. The wall includes donations
made through 6/30/07 and is updated yearly.
The Blue Valley Educational Foundation said a special
thank you to its donors at the October Board of Education meeting.
New donors, who have contributed $2,000 or more to the Foundation
since its inception 15 years ago, were added to the organization's
"Wall of Honor."
